'The Spring Man' specialises in supplying a wide range of  springs to locksmiths, artisan craftsmen, traditional ironmongers and hardware shops.

With effect 1 January 2012, it has been necessary for The Spring Man to increase prices to take account of the significant increases in metal prices over the past couple of years.  In order to try to minimise the effect on our customers we have mainly managed the price changes by altering pack sizes, taking into account that customers often have to buy a larger pack-size than they actually require.

Lock springs:

To suit old and new locks, including traditional mortice locks such as Wellington, Erebus, Chubb, Union etc; rim locks (feathersprings) and; digital locks such as Unican/Simplex and nightlatches.

Door handle springs:

To suit a range of traditional and modern door furniture, including Italian brasswear, aluminium door furniture and UPVC door handles.

Miscellaneous:

Letterplate springs, keyrings (jump rings), extension springs, compression springs. torsion springs etc.

Bespoke spring production:

Customised service for customers who need small or large quantities of specific springs or wire forms not normally available.  Customers simply supply a sample of the spring and we will supply a quote for any number required.  All bespoke spring production is manufactured in the UK and can usually be supplied within four weeks from placing order.  Please note that there is a set-up/tooling charge of £65.00 for all bespoke orders in addition to the cost of springs.
